DIY: Circle Scarf
Are you ready for my first DIY?! I made a circle scarf using the instructions from this video by BrittneyNGray. I made mine with one large, yellow t-shirt, and I think it came out pretty well. Here are my results:
It's nice and bright, which will bring some color to my winter wardrobe. Here's how it looks wrapped twice:
This one's more close-up, so you can see the edges where my cutting got screwed up. Oh, well. I think I'm gonna make a two-toned scarf next, using two t-shirts I found. They're two different shades of brown, so I hope it'll make a nice, cozy scarf. This was an extremely easy project, no sewing required. All you need are scissors and a t-shirt, really. So so simple! If you try it, let me know how it turns out! Send me a picture.

Mini-Haul: Willowbrook Mall
I went shopping today, with one of my fabulous best friends, Alyssa. I set a budget for myself--$25. You read that right. TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS. And I managed to buy myself some gorgeous. You wanna see? Oh, I know you do.
Deep V-Neck Cardigan from Love Culture ($12.90). The website doesn't show this color (jade), I'm not sure why. It's a beautiful turquoise cardigan with gold buttons. I have a dark gray cardigan (also Love Culture) and a navy blue one (Forever21), so I've been looking for a lighter, brighter one, and I finally found it! It was on a mannequin, and I literally screamed at my friend, "Alyssa, thats it! I NEED THAT CARDIGAN!" Then, I ran into Love Culture and searched the entire store until I found it. I'm so excited, I've already envisioned at least ten outfits with it. I think I'm in loovvvee...
Braided Bead Cuff from Love Culture ($2.90). I know what you're thinking. And yes, I did buy it to match the cardigan. I was trying to choose between this one, and one that was all blue, so I asked my friend Alyssa. "Well, the yellow one, obviously. You can wear it with the cardigan!" So I did. And also, I don't have any other yellow accessories besides this one, so I'm excited to try something new.
Bow, Heart, & Bird Charm Bracelet from Wet Seal ($6.00). I don't have anything like this, and I've been looking for a silver charm bracelet for awhile. I absolutely love this one. In case you can't see clearly, there's a little silver ball, then a bow, a pearl wrapped in silver leaves, a detailed heart, a little rhinestone ball, a bird, a rose, and another pearl. It's so feminine and detailed.
***
That's all for now, my loves. I spent a total of $21.80, which was under my budget, and I'm proud of myself! How about you guys? Did you go shopping this weekend? Tell me what you got in the comments!
Love, Lex.

I'm Sorry.
I know, I know, it's been weeks since my last post and let me say, I am sooo sorry. It's just that I feel like my blog is so dull, and until now I couldn't figure out why. I've been looking at other beauty blogs, specifically Makeup & Beauty Blog (I'm kind of obsessed...). You know what this blog is missing? PICTURES. The problem is, my camera (along with all the other technology in this house) hates me, and has officially decided to not work with my laptop. I cannot upload any pictures from my camera to my laptop, and I don't know why. So to upload pictures on a daily basis, I would have to go upstairs to my parents' desktop, transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer, then put them on a flash drive, then come back downstairs, and transfer the pictures from the flash drive to my laptop.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Why can't I just take the laptop upstairs? Because my laptop hates me too. The battery doesn't work, so as soon as I unplug the laptop, the whole thing dies.
So my solution to this problem? Polyvore! It's this site I found that let's you create collages from pictures on the web. It's the closest thing I'm going to get to real pictures of myself, so, dear readers, you will just have to imagine.
I'm gonna get a new post started soon based on my outfit/makeup look from yesterday, because I am currently sitting here in sweatpants, a sweater, and my fuzzy slippers. TTYS, my loves.

If I Ever Became a Principal...
...I would totally make every Monday Pajama Day. I mean, think about it. Monday is the day you wanna sleep in more, you're not ready for another week of school, the last thing you wanna do is come up with a new outfit. The solution these problems? Pajama Day. Roll out of bed and onto the school bus, nothing in between (although you could brush your teeth/hair on the way).
And how have I reached this sudden brainstorm, you ask? It's SPIRIT WEEK! And Day 1 of Spirit Week is Pajama Day.
Honestly, I would never wear my real pajamas to school, though, because they never match or fit properly. So what did I wear today? Well, of course I'll tell you, my dears.
I had my chocolate UGGs over green plaid pajama pants that my soccer team got as end-of-the-season gifts last year, with Authentic Soffe Shorts in Oxford under them. On top I had my white Gap tank and a black zip hoodie from Victoria's Secret Pink. They don't have it on the website because it's like a year old, but in case you were wondering, the front is plain black with the dog icon in white in the top corner and a striped peace sign on the back. My hair was down as usual, and no makeup to complete the pj look. It was very cozy and warm.
I'm gonna give you my Top 10 Song List today:

Oh, Hello There :)
Almost forgot about this ol' thing..
I guess I'll get right into it with some day-by-day updates? Forget all that intro shit...
Saturday...
It was pretty intense. After the soccer game, which we lost in (big surprise there, right?), I went to my bud's house for his movie night/informal birthday party thing. Hard to explain, but we watched Date Night (amazing movie. I totally recommend it.) and I ended up spraining my foot. I was doing this high kick and my foot slipped out from under me, so I fell and rolled my right foot. Not good. I looked pretty good doing it, though, so that must count for something, right? My hot pink paint splattered Converse, Bullhead acid wash gray skinny jeans from PacSun, my Aeropostale Solid V-Neck Tee in Navy Night, and my silver Juicy Couture heart necklace, courtesty of the parentals for my birthday. On my eyes I had navy blue eyeliner with a little shimmer on my lashline and the silver from my Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow quad in Precious Metals on the inner corners, just to brighten it up a little bit.
Sunday...
I had to wake up super duper early for the 1st of 2 soccer games. Yes, I played on my sprained ankle, and I actually scored in the first game! I didn't really have an outfit, besides my soccer uniform and the crap clothes I lounged around in after the games, so this day was pretty dull.
Monday...
Chilling at home, thank you Columbus. I pretty much sat around in my pajamas all day.
Tuesday...
Ughhh, back at school. I thought I had my period, and my foot was really bothering me, so my outfit kinda reflected the whole ehhness of the day. I had my hot pink Converse to cover the brace, then Reese Low-Rise Bootcuts from Delia's in Boston Wash, and my This Shirt Is Bananas tee from Delia's (cheesy, I know). I dabbed on some of the lighter gold color from the Revlon quad just to brighten things up, but it didn't really match.
Wednesday...
I had physical therapy for my foot and for my quad (I pulled a tendon in it at camp this summer, did physical therapy for like a month, then when the soccer season started again, it started hurting again, so I'm back in PT now). My outfit was AMAZING. It had this sporty-edgy kinda vibe to it, and I was really proud of myself. Since my dad was driving me to school, I took the opportunity to wear flip-flops without freezing my toes off at the bus stop. Next were my Bullhead Solana Extreme Skinny Black Jeans from PacSun. Thennn, I had a white Pure Body Tank from Gap (I always get my basic tanks and tees from Gap--they are amazingly soft and will last forever). Over that, Wednesday's piece de resistance, a white jacket from Nike, with black sleeves and side panels (for a slimming effect) and hints of bright blue. It's pretty old, actually, from my tomboy phase a few years ago, but back then it was really baggy because that was my style (baggy, manly...uck). Now, it fits amazingly, right on my waist, kinda like a cropped jacket. I love it. Love it, love it, love it. I used the same silver Juicy necklace from Saturday night, along with the same eye makeup. It was pretty amazing.
Thursday...
Today I had a severe outfit crisis this morning, but it was averted, so I won't bring it up again. I finally brought out my UGGs--Classic Tall in Chocolate and Dark Deep Indigo Skinny Jeans from American Eagle. On top was this top from Kohl's. It's pink and orange tie-dyed, and it's really flowy, with a braided waist, right under the bust. I absolutely love it, and it was really cheap too. On my eyes I tried out this new look I found yesterday on Allure. I toned it down a little bit for school, so I didn't extend the gold above the creases (I used the lighter gold from the Revlon quad--love that thing!) and for the liner I used L'Oreal Paris Wear Infinite Soft Powder Liner in Brown Suede--it's great for smudging because it's so soft. The whole outfit had a warm, boho-y look. It was very comfy, too.
&for my list, I will have my current Beauty Wish List
That's all for now, my dears.
Adios <3

I Knew This Was Gonna Happen...
I know, I know, I missed 2 posts. Wednesday, I had an honest excuse because I had soccer practice, but Thursday...I just couldn't do it. I don't know why. I had all the time in the world, but I just couldn't bring my lazy butt to type a whole post.
I'll start with the outfits. The 1st one was kinda ehh, the other 2 were amazingly comfortable and still really cute and both feature yoga pants...
Wednesday
This outfit was pretty boring. I had on my hot pink splatter paint Converse, Bullhead Solana Extreme Skinny Black Jeans from PacSun, and a pink and black, zebra-striped tank top that said Nassau, Bahamas, from, well...Nassau, Bahamas. The lettering on the tank top was like neon-rainbow. I just couldn't find anything to wear that day.
Thursday
This outfit is like ten times better than Wednesday's, but even easier. First was my hot pink Converse. Then came some really comfortable light gray foldover yoga pants from Aerie. My piece de resistance, was the top: my brand new off-the-shoulder dark heather gray sweater with a paint splatter heart design. I threw it over a red tank top from guess where? Walmart! I originally bought it because I was gonna rip it up for Halloween 2 years ago, so I needed a cheap red tank, but then we decided not to rip them, so I still wear it. I also had on navy blue eyeliner, just because I felt like it :)
Friday
Today was just as comfortable as yesterday, with my hot pink converse and another pair of foldover yoga pants; this time they were black, from Aeropostale. Then I had on a pink tank top from PacSun. On top of that was my zebra zip-up hoodie from Wet Seal. My friends and I were "zebras" for Halloween last year, and my friend put our last names and a number on the backs with iron-on letters. It actually adds a really cool personal touch to the jacket.
There you have it, 3 days of outfits.
I need a list...hmmmm....
How bout this? My insane weekend plans, listen up.
- I'm going to my friend's house tonight to work on our Bio project. Get this: we have to make a scrapbook for cells. Yeah, I don't get it either.
- Tomorrow, I have 2 soccer games, part of a tournament that my team is in.
- After the soccer games, I'm going to my friend's house for his birthday party/gathering thingy. You see, it's not really a formal birthday party, with presents and whatnot, we're just going over to his house to chill and it happens to be around his birthday. Kinda.
- Sunday, I have 2 more soccer games. I have to wake up at like 7 in the morning for the first one. Shoot me.
- Monday is my chill day. If I get a post in this weekend, it'll probably be Monday. I know you're looking forward to it :)
Ohhh, annndd, I'm adding a new little feature to all my posts now: In My Ears and On My Mind. In other words, what I'm listening to and what I'm thinking about. Dontcha love it?

OhmygodOhmygodOhmygod
You have no idea how excited I am to tell you all about my outfit today. I'm going to EXPLODE.
I'll start from the bottom, and it just gets better and better as you go up. My silver sandals (Shore Strappy Sandals by American Eagle; this link shows them in black, but mine are silver), then my indigo skinny jeans (Deep Indigo Skinny Jeans, also American Eagle), a simple white tank from Gap were my basics. Next comes one of my favorite parts of the outfit. It was a short-sleeved, light teal, wrap cardigan type thing. You know, the ones that you can tie up in the front, kinda like this, but with shorter sleeves, and less hanging down. I tied it up in a simple knot over my stomach. On my eyes was silver creme eyeshadow from my Revlon quad (Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow in Precious Metals) that I used as eyeliner (I actually found a skinny brush, instead of the Q-tip I was using before). And then, on my hair was my other favorite part--a thick, silver braided headband from Claire's, that came down over my forehead in that hippie-boho style. I added my SO Silver-Tone Wire Cuff Bracelet from Kohl's, and voila! I think it was sort of a boho look, but my friend referred to it as "texan hippie."
So, there you have it. Explosion averted.
My list for today, although I planned to put together a shopping list, will instead be a list of the songs I added last night on iTunes...
BTW, do ya like the links? I'll try to add those whenever I can find them.
Bye, loves <3
