Oh, Hello There :)

Almost forgot about this ol' thing..
I guess I'll get right into it with some day-by-day updates?  Forget all that intro shit...

Saturday...
It was pretty intense.  After the soccer game, which we lost in (big surprise there, right?), I went to my bud's house for his movie night/informal birthday party thing.  Hard to explain, but we watched Date Night (amazing movie. I totally recommend it.) and I ended up spraining my foot.  I was doing this high kick and my foot slipped out from under me, so I fell and rolled my right foot.  Not good.  I looked pretty good doing it, though, so that must count for something, right?  My hot pink paint splattered Converse, Bullhead acid wash gray skinny jeans from PacSun, my Aeropostale Solid V-Neck Tee in Navy Night, and my silver Juicy Couture heart necklace, courtesty of the parentals for my birthday.  On my eyes I had navy blue eyeliner with a little shimmer on my lashline and the silver from my Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow quad in Precious Metals on the inner corners, just to brighten it up a little bit.

Sunday...
I had to wake up super duper early for the 1st of 2 soccer games.  Yes, I played on my sprained ankle, and I actually scored in the first game!  I didn't really have an outfit, besides my soccer uniform and the crap clothes I lounged around in after the games, so this day was pretty dull.

Monday...
Chilling at home, thank you Columbus.  I pretty much sat around in my pajamas all day.

Tuesday...
Ughhh, back at school.  I thought I had my period, and my foot was really bothering me, so my outfit kinda reflected the whole ehhness of the day.  I had my hot pink Converse to cover the brace, then Reese Low-Rise Bootcuts from Delia's in Boston Wash, and my This Shirt Is Bananas tee from Delia's (cheesy, I know).  I dabbed on some of the lighter gold color from the Revlon quad just to brighten things up, but it didn't really match.

Wednesday...
I had physical therapy for my foot and for my quad (I pulled a tendon in it at camp this summer, did physical therapy for like a month, then when the soccer season started again, it started hurting again, so I'm back in PT now).  My outfit was AMAZING.  It had this sporty-edgy kinda vibe to it, and I was really proud of myself.  Since my dad was driving me to school, I took the opportunity to wear flip-flops without freezing my toes off at the bus stop.  Next were my Bullhead Solana Extreme Skinny Black Jeans from PacSun.  Thennn, I had a white Pure Body Tank from Gap (I always get my basic tanks and tees from Gap--they are amazingly soft and will last forever).  Over that, Wednesday's piece de resistance, a white jacket from Nike, with black sleeves and side panels (for a slimming effect) and hints of bright blue.  It's pretty old, actually, from my tomboy phase a few years ago, but back then it was really baggy because that was my style (baggy, manly...uck).  Now, it fits amazingly, right on my waist, kinda like a cropped jacket.  I love it.  Love it, love it, love it.  I used the same silver Juicy necklace from Saturday night, along with the same eye makeup.  It was pretty amazing.

Thursday...
Today I had a severe outfit crisis this morning, but it was averted, so I won't bring it up again.  I finally brought out my UGGs--Classic Tall in Chocolate and Dark Deep Indigo Skinny Jeans from American Eagle.  On top was this top from Kohl's.  It's pink and orange tie-dyed, and it's really flowy, with a braided waist, right under the bust.  I absolutely love it, and it was really cheap too.  On my eyes I tried out this new look I found yesterday on Allure.  I toned it down a little bit for school, so I didn't extend the gold above the creases (I used the lighter gold from the Revlon quad--love that thing!) and for the liner I used L'Oreal Paris Wear Infinite Soft Powder Liner in Brown Suede--it's great for smudging because it's so soft.  The whole outfit had a warm, boho-y look.  It was very comfy, too.

&for my list, I will have my current Beauty Wish List

  1. CoverGirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner Pencil in pretty much every color
  2. shimmery white eyeshadow (it makes your eyes look brighter and more awake if you dab it in the inner corners)
  3. peachy lip gloss
  4. bright turquoise eyeliner
  5. Maybelline Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow in Sapphire Siren

That's all for now, my dears.
Adios <3

I Knew This Was Gonna Happen...

I know, I know, I missed 2 posts.  Wednesday, I had an honest excuse because I had soccer practice, but Thursday...I just couldn't do it.  I don't know why.  I had all the time in the world, but I just couldn't bring my lazy butt to type a whole post.

I'll start with the outfits.  The 1st one was kinda ehh, the other 2 were amazingly comfortable and still really cute and both feature yoga pants...

Wednesday
This outfit was pretty boring.  I had on my hot pink splatter paint Converse, Bullhead Solana Extreme Skinny Black Jeans from PacSun, and a pink and black, zebra-striped tank top that said Nassau, Bahamas, from, well...Nassau, Bahamas.  The lettering on the tank top was like neon-rainbow.  I just couldn't find anything to wear that day.

Thursday
This outfit is like ten times better than Wednesday's, but even easier.  First was my hot pink Converse.  Then came some really comfortable light gray foldover yoga pants from Aerie.  My piece de resistance, was the top:  my brand new off-the-shoulder dark heather gray sweater with a paint splatter heart design.  I threw it over a red tank top from guess where?  Walmart!  I originally bought it because I was gonna rip it up for Halloween 2 years ago, so I needed a cheap red tank, but then we decided not to rip them, so I still wear it.  I also had on navy blue eyeliner, just because I felt like it :)

Friday
Today was just as comfortable as yesterday, with my hot pink converse and another pair of foldover yoga pants; this time they were black, from Aeropostale.  Then I had on a pink tank top from PacSun.  On top of that was my zebra zip-up hoodie from Wet Seal.  My friends and I were "zebras" for Halloween last year, and my friend put our last names and a number  on the backs with iron-on letters.  It actually adds a really cool personal touch to the jacket.

There you have it, 3 days of outfits.

I need a list...hmmmm....
How bout this?  My insane weekend plans, listen up.
  1. I'm going to my friend's house tonight to work on our Bio project.  Get this:  we have to make a scrapbook for cells.  Yeah, I don't get it either.
  2. Tomorrow, I have 2 soccer games, part of a tournament that my team is in.
  3. After the soccer games, I'm going to my friend's house for his birthday party/gathering thingy.  You see, it's not really a formal birthday party, with presents and whatnot, we're just going over to his house to chill and it happens to be around his birthday.  Kinda.
  4. Sunday, I have 2 more soccer games.  I have to wake up at like 7 in the morning for the first one.  Shoot me.
  5. Monday is my chill day.  If I get a post in this weekend, it'll probably be Monday.  I know you're looking forward to it :)
Aiiight, I'm done.  Later, Lovers <3

Ohhh, annndd, I'm adding a new little feature to all my posts now:  In My Ears and On My Mind.  In other words, what I'm listening to and what I'm thinking about.  Dontcha love it?

OhmygodOhmygodOhmygod

You have no idea how excited I am to tell you all about my outfit today.  I'm going to EXPLODE.
I'll start from the bottom, and it just gets better and better as you go up.  My silver sandals (Shore Strappy Sandals by American Eagle; this link shows them in black, but mine are silver), then my indigo skinny jeans (Deep Indigo Skinny Jeans, also American Eagle), a simple white tank from Gap were my basics.  Next comes one of my favorite parts of the outfit.  It was a short-sleeved, light teal, wrap cardigan type thing.  You know, the ones that you can tie up in the front, kinda like this, but with shorter sleeves, and less hanging down.  I tied it up in a simple knot over my stomach.  On my eyes was silver creme eyeshadow from my Revlon quad (Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow in Precious Metals) that I used as eyeliner (I actually found a skinny brush, instead of the Q-tip I was using before).  And then, on my hair was my other favorite part--a thick, silver braided headband from Claire's, that came down over my forehead in that hippie-boho style.  I added my SO Silver-Tone Wire Cuff Bracelet from Kohl's, and voila!  I think it was sort of a boho look, but my friend referred to it as "texan hippie."
So, there you have it.  Explosion averted.

My list for today, although I planned to put together a shopping list, will instead be a list of the songs I added last night on iTunes...

  1. "If I Had You" by Adam Lambert
  2. "2012" by Jay Sean feat. Nicki Minaj
  3. "Just a Dream" by Nelly
  4. "Only Girl (In the World)" by Rihanna
  5. "Magic" by B.O.B. feat. Rivers Cuomo

BTW, do ya like the links?  I'll try to add those whenever I can find them.

Bye, loves <3

Post-Birthday News

Sooooo, yesterday was my birthday :)
But I'm not gonna tell you how old I am cuz I don't need any creepers, thank you very much.  My list for today will be my gifts.  Let's hope I can remember them.
  1. A really really really soft, gray, off-the-shoulder sweater with a rainbow-ish paint-splattery heart design on the front.
  2. A light gray sweater from Abercrombie that I think is off-the-shoulder but I'm not totally sure yet.
  3. Matching light gray short shorts from Abercrombie.
  4. A long necklace with a chunky black heart necklace with studs.
  5. A blue fake-reptile-of-some-sort skin makeup case/clutch thingy.
  6. A silver heart necklace from Juicy Couture
  7. A yellow cupcake pendant, also from Juicy Couture.  The cupcake pendant and the heart pendant are interchangeable.
  8. Hot pink nail polish.
  9. A black and pink rubber sports watch from Hot Topic.
  10. Body mist from Hollister.
  11. Matching lotion from Hollister.
  12. A gray tote with the British flag on it.
  13. A sparkly floral scarf.
  14. Lip gloss.
  15. A little pink bag from Bloomingdales.
  16. A Delia's gift card.
  17. An Express gift card.
  18. An iTunes gift card.
  19. An Amazon gift card.
  20. Cute little handmade crafts from my sister
Ooh, a perfect 20 :)
I am soo soo soo excited to wear my new clothes/accessories, and especially to spend my gift cards.  I'm thinking my next list will be a shopping list, hmm?

As for my party, I took 9 friends to Hibachi on Saturday, which was awesome, and 4 VIPs came over later for the afterparty, where we watched The Back-Up Plan (hilarious movie, I totally recommend it) and ate cannoli cream cake (mmmmm, I'll be having some later).  Add that to my soccer team's 1-0 win, I think it was a pretty awesome birthday.

Some closing thoughts?  Everytime I told someone I had a soccer game on my birthday, they would say "aww, that sucks." Why?  Why does it suck?  I joined the soccer team because I actually enjoy the sport, and I really want to play.  Is that so hard to understand?  Or am I just a freak?  Oh well...

Ooooh, I almost forgot tell you my outfit for today!!  How could I?!  It was actually pretty cute.  My look was laid-back, comfort and fashion all rolled into one.  I'll go from bottoms-up, as usual.  We'll start with my black flip flops that have a flower on the strap, imported from India (by my grandma...I'm 100% Indian).  Then, medium-wash bootcuts from Delia's (Reese Boston Wash, to be exact).  Next, I paired a heather purple lace-trim tank top from Gap with a dark gray oversized cardigan from Love culture (nice and cozy).  Accessories-wise, I had on my new cupcake necklace and a purple beaded headband.

There ya go :)

Thank God It's Friday, right?

This has been a really bad week for me. Like, really bad. Definitely the worst since the school year started.
Why, you ask?
Well, here's my list...
  1. I bombed my History quiz.
  2. I completely forgot about some big important homework assignment for Earth Science, then forgot again, and ended up turning it in 2 days late.
  3. It's been horrible and rainy almost all week.
  4. I am now punished, but I'm not sure why.
  5. My partner for lab project does no work and is never free to work on projects.
  6. My parents have revoked my "eye makeup privileges" because my dad thought I was wearing too much eyeliner because he saw me right after my hand had spazzed and I made the line too thick.
But this weekend should be good. Like, really good. Like, amazingly fantastically awesome, one of the best this year.
Why, you ask?
CUZ IT'S MY BIRTHDAY BIZNATCHH.
Saturday is my hibachi birthday party, featuring 10 of my closest friends. Annnd, Sunday is my actual birthday.  Annnd, my soccer team is playing my camp friend's team and I haven't seen her in like forever, so I'm kinda psyched for that too.

Wow, just thinking about my fantabulous weekend has picked up my mood.
You wanna hear about my outfit?
Come on, I know ya do.

Actually, it's really not that special.  I guess I kinda ended up with a slightly gothish look, but I was sorta depressed this morning cuz of the rain and whatnot.  I'll got from bottom up:  my absolutely insane Converse--hot pink, with hints of neon green and bright blue & paint splatters; gray acid-wash Bullhead skinny jeans from PacSun; plain purple tank top, also PacSun; Prestige Cosmetics liquid eyeliner, with wings!; and what I call second-day hair (cuz I didn't wash it yesterday), bangs clipped back.
Now that I think about it, I could've been featured in a PacSun catalog.

I r e a l l y wanna finish my homework tonight, so I'm not stuck with it on my birthday weekend, so imma go now (imma go, imma go, imma imma imma go...k, I'm done.)  Byeee<3

Well, Hello There

I've had a blog before. But for some reason, I can never keep it up.  I get bored with it.  I'm hoping that won't happen to this one.
What's this blog about?
Well, it's basically a mix of things about my life.  I'll keep you updated on what I'm wearing, what I'm hearing, and what I'm doing.
&I want to try to have a list in every single post.  Every single one.  Good luck to me?
So, let's get started...

Fashionwise, I had a major crisis this morning.  I had my outfit all planned out.  I was going yoga style.  I had on yoga pants from Aerie, a purple tank top from PacSun, and a black zip hoodie from Pink since I have to leave the house before 7, when it's still pretty cold outside, and flip flops because I can't go to school barefoot.  I personally think my eyes looked a m a z i n g.  I was really proud of what I had done.  I put a silver cream shadow, part of a quad from Revlon on my lids first.  Then, I dusted some light purple powder shadow from a MaryKate&Ashley eye glam trio (that's right, eye g l a m) over it, which resulted in this amazing metallic with a subtle purple effect.  I was soooo proud of myself.  Then, I look outside, and I realize that it's pouring rain.  And my pants are a little bit long on me, so they would've been dragging in the puddles, and because they were gray, they would've gotten water spots all over them.  So, I had to change my look from my yoga chic look to kind of a chill, summery weekend look.  I put on denim destroyed short shorts from Hollister and a pink short-sleeve (actually, it wasn't like real short sleeves, it was like that in-between short sleeve that's not fully at your elbow, but longer than a t-shirt kinda thing, ya know?) henley.  I kinda rubbed off some of the eyeshadow cuz it didn't really match, but I didn't have much time to fully fix it.  If I had more time, I would've used a rose gold color.

So, what is the moral of this story?  Always check the weather before you get dressed?  I normally do, but my iPod (source of all info) was downstairs charging while I was upstairs getting dressed.

As for my list....
My birthday's on Sunday, and I'm pretty sure I'll get at least one iTunes gift card, so I've been waiting for a while before I buy new songs (look at me, being all economical).
Here's the Top 5 songs I want to add:

  1. "Magic" by B.O.B. featuring Rivers Cuomo
  2. "Only Girl (In the World)" by Rihanna
  3. "2010" by Jay Sean featuring Nicki Minaj
  4. "Just a Dream" by Nelly
  5. "Space Bound" by Eminem
That's it for now.  I should really start my homework.
Later, Lovers <3
